I have unearthed many of my previous film school/experimental projects.

I think it’s about time to start sharing them. Back when they were made for an audience of me, but now with some distance I can break them down as if they were made by any other artist and find things to criticize and things to like. I’ll probably open up a new YouTube channel or post them on my extant one, depending.

Love to see them.

I also love the word extant, so kudos.

Well I’m doing an interview tomorrow with Gerry Fialka and thought I’d bring him some work I did and in the process rediscovered a lot of stuff I’ve honestly forgotten about, so I figure that I’m at a good place to start putting this stuff out there especially since I previously never thought anybody’d be interested, but recent years have begot people inquiring about it.

I’m finally going to get to see The Magnificent Ambersons. Since I don’t have cable tv I’ve never been able to see it there. Under $8 from Amazon. I wish they released a version with lots of bells and whistles but I’ll take what I can get.

well worth seeing even with compromised ending ^ last night i watched city girl and there was a very interesting ‘reconstruction’ of sorts of murnau’s famous lost film 4 devils on the disc, using screenplay and production stills. i still have hopes of seeing this as city girl‘s print itself wasn’t discovered til 1969

sigh

The Fog (1980)

It wasn’t very scary but it was creepy and oh so purty. And very John Carpenter.

Marsupials are great—the only animal with it’s own backpack.

I wish I had a pouch. If I did, I would put The Fog in it, just for Soybean.

EDIT: Good point, Odi.
