BC, Pretzel Logic is one of my favorites, the other ones ok.

Countdown to Ecstasy and Katy Lied are also crucial.

i think it is probably the most solid album songwise, more jazz and less rock than some of the others tho

I don’t like Steely Dan.

You know what else I don’t like? Country. Worst music genre ever.

Dude,

Your still young… you will

At some point you’re bound to cave to the Dan (happens to everyone)

What is good country? People always say they love all music genres except country funny to love all of them except one. I have Cash live at folsom and a neil young album I barely listen to on my ipod

No-Limb Joe

I do, however, love artists that can be considered country, like…

and…

If you’re offended by the last image, well…

God I need to listen to more Neil Young. I love On the Beach and have listened to this little album called Trans.

ruby stevens

neil young is a lifetime commitment, dude. and yeah i’m so offended, i’m calling your mother

Hank Williams, George Jones, Patsy Cline, Willie Nelson, Buck Owens, Roger Miller, Hank Snow, Louvin Brothers, Carter Family, Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn, Ernest Tubb, Bob Wills, Lee Hazlewood, faron Young, Gram Parsons, Wanda Jackson, Townes Van Zandt, etc

I love the Johnny Cash image. If it had a shirt, I’m so gonna buy it.

A more user-friendly one for everybody:

One hell of a bamf.

Loretta Lynn’s alright.

I heard of a few of those people what do you mean a lifetime commitment?

jeff

If you like Neil Young, and you like reading, you should read Shakey Dude

Also, if you like On the Beach you should complete the Ditch Trilogy if you haven’t

It’s nice that people have embraced Trans more after all these years

ruby stevens

getting back to what BC said about people saying they love all genres except country… i sorta feel like if you truely love music, than it’s stupid to discount whole genres and say they suck. if you don’t like an entire genre, than you aren’t trying/searching hard enough.

I just don’t have the energy to discover new stuff and frankly it is scary taking a plunge into new territory. I am just now getting into alot of rock everyone I know has been listening for years.
