^ what is it?
Ok, Odi. If someone has a problem with my busting I’ll refer them to this thread. LOL.
Dude, no.
Um, yes, Bijoux…(?)
Ok, fine. But what is it??
@odilonvert: ^ First gay superhero in DC (or any major superhero comic maker for that matter) [took ’em a long time]
I can’t think of anything to post! Goddamn Friday’s giving me a headache.
Is that one of the green lanterns??
Yes, it is.
“Two things”
Yeah, that happens, but, usually it’s one or two at any given time . . . not counting the more or less continuous threads such as this one, I count seven threads that are more 1-3 years old currently on the front page.
i revived one of wu yong’s threads because they are lovely and i feel bad for them getting buried :\
problem?
also i was sure that robin was the first gay comic strip superhero??
someone find me a decent photo of nicholas musuraca :(

Is this fine?
Just wondering if some sort of movement was afoot. :)
Um — I don’t think they’ve ever done any gay super hero comics outside of Ace & Gary on SNL.
Yeah Matt, I think it’s that people are getting bored…
it would be dude, except that that’s john brahm
i know cuz i wrote his bio too :P
Lol, Ruby!!
Ha, no I think it’s great when an old thread is rekindled. I just am more hesitant about jumping in the longer ones. I think a lot of users (ahem, me) don’t search through forums and usually only respond to the current active ones. So reviving can be helpful to lazybones like me :)
Apparently there are a lot of gay superheroes in both Marvel and DC. I just read it last week. Of course none of them are very well-known.
oh u guys i got my truck back today!! woo- hoo!!!!!!!!
Keep on truckin’, Ruby.
" I don’t think they’ve ever done any gay super hero comics outside of Ace & Gary on SNL."
Naw, Marvel has been doing openly gay characters and LGBT in the Alpha Flight and the X-Men since the early ’90s.
@ Dude
Technically, it was published under their Wildstorm imprint, but DC had (Apollo and The Midnighter) gay superheroes way back in 1999 in Warren Ellis’s The Authority.
“people are getting bored…”
I kind of like seeing some of that stuff. Mubi was so much older then . . . it’s younger than that now. ;)
=D ^
@matt parks: I’m familiar with the graphic novel, and Warren Ellis for that matter, but I didn’t know there were gay superheros in it. That aside, Warren Ellis is a great writer.
aw thanks Ruby haven’t heard that in an age
I was so much older then, Im younger then than now tooooo that’s how I feel
Bat-Woman is a lesbian.
@rock and bull: I thought Catwoman was. Read Frank Miller’s Batman: Year One.
@Dude
I’m not a huge Batman fan, but should I still read Year One?
I didn’t even know there was a Bat Woman.
Wow, Matt, I’m impressed. I know so little about comics.
Ah, Ruby… :D
Ruby, this one’s for you (and the rest of us evil women)
haha! i was listening to some elo recently and it sounded pretty good! classic rock night on stl :P
No-Limb Joe
Let’s get out of the forums, and into comics:
What do you guys think?
