Sorry to hear about Odi. Hope you are doing well if you happen to read this. You are welcome back any time.
if u happen to read this

if u happen to read this
Well this was bound to happen?
@Tomas
I thought the second season of Dexter was strong enough, but I agree.
Any long running series has to deal with the issue of becoming too cyclical and straining to preserve the status quo.
Johnny Guitar is being released on DVD and BluRay on August 7th. I saw it so long ago that I don’t remember much about it.
Jirin, Except Breaking Bad…
Soybean, Yeah!! Such good news. I’ve been waiting for that movie to be released for years.
I like TV more than movies these days. Breaking Bad, Archer, and Childrens Hospital are all great in my opinion. Plus many more current shows.
I just watched all six seasons of Lost in about a month. Next I’m moving on to Battlestar Galactica and then Dexter. Streamings not so bad.
Finally seeing Prometheus last night reminded me that I am not nearly as angry of a Lost fan as I should be. First two seasons of that show are probably the best TV I’ve ever seen, but after that… Questions are answered, but in stupid and unsatisfying ways. I really dislike Lindelof. haha
Finished Twin Peaks, now on season 3 of Breaking Bad, and after that moving on to Boardwalk Empire. I really do prefer movies though, even if there is a ton of TV I should be watching.
Battlestar is better than most movies. I’ll be rewatching at least the miniseries here, soon.
EDIT: Great way to watch tv shows, innit, Bean?
Absolutely. No commercials will improve most shows. And you can keep watching back to back episodes until you drip. I mean drop.
really kills those cliffhanger endings tho :P
@Drew Gregory
First season of Boardwalk blew me away. Saw a few episodes of the second season, lost all interest, and deleted them off my DVR.
I’m gonna get into Downton Abbey maybe later tonight… I just came back from Chicago and my dad told me it was excellent. On streaming!
Battlestar Galactica rocks.
I actually think the Miniseries is a little bit weak, but once you get a few episodes in season one you see how great it is, and the first half of season two is some of the greatest television ever made.
Breaking Bad isn’t cyclical but it does start to stretch the premise to justify keeping going. ;) Although I still haven’t seen season four. Also Walking Dead is pretty awesome. It’s like Romero: The Series.
Walking Dead is awesome, but they’re some seriously annoying moments and characters.
ARRRRRRRRRRRRGH
Why did Grey Daisies have to leave? His lists were spring wells of film knowledge. :(
As for Odi, she’ll be back and making her 39 posts a day soon enough. Over/under 6 weeks, tops, I say.

“Johnny Guitar is being released on DVD and BluRay on August 7th.”
God, FINALLY.

Grey Daisies :(
Grey Daisies was one of the first users I started following on here. His lists, taste and submissions were out of this world! This place just won’t be the same without him :(
Grey Daisies is gone? I’m starting not to recognize the site I was so interested in joining. I feel like it’s become something I’m not sure I would have signed up for if it had been like this then.
Anywayyyyy… I think anybody who watches Lost on DVD or streaming is really missing something by not having a whole week to discuss cliffhanger endings and theorize about what’s going on before seeing the next episode. Although I guess the show might be less infuriating if you’re not coming up with a million better answers than what they could each week.
And, on a personal life note, I had an interview for a new job this morning that I think went really well! :D
Gonna see The Amazing Spider Man in a couple of hours. Boyo boy have I been waiting for this!
@DFFOO
Hope you get it!
oh god greg don’t say things like that you’re scaring me!! u can’t leave too! i was just getting to know grey/karl and am very sad to see him go, seems like he’d been here forever :’(

i might go see brave today. i hate to miss a pixar and gotta support my curly gurls

No offense, Ruby, but Brave sucks.

Speaking of television, it often depresses me to think that some of the particularly interesting programming in the first decade or two [such as the interview/talk shows, broadcasts of concerts or plays] are now things which seem exiled to PBS, if even then, or non-cable stations.
