Cloud Atlas looks like a a nice short movie to see with the kids.
I hope it’s 200 minutes or something with an intermission. I want to see a real epic in theaters.

I just looked at its Mubi profile, and apparently its only 164 minutes… I hope they make this work.
That’s kind of disappointingly short for a 6 minute long trailer.
My thoughts exactly. I’m jut hoping some scenes in the movie won’t feel rushed. That’s the key thing, RUSHED
What is it about Rage Comics? They’re life at the level of the most base, ugly, matter of fact existence. They’re so familiar and so horrible, mostly in how they’re drawn.

Went through that last summer, definitely not fun. Love that daily routine of justifying yourself as a human being to strangers.

Me (Inside): “Nothing, because I only care about it professionally and don’t want to spend my free time sitting through eight hour conferences on the newest code library.”
Me (Outside): “Oh, I get these news feeds!” (Please no follow up questions)
Agreed. I’m in the same spot.
Luckily I have some contract work for this week. It will pay off September’s utilities and half the month’s groceries. So I need to find some work for the other half of the groceries and rent over the rest of August. In July I got one contract job worth half this one, and in June I got one gig worth a third of July’s. So at this rate I’ll be able to match my cost of living in about three months?

Well, summer is still goin’ and yet tomorrow’s the 1st day of a new month (August).

Aside: I’ve been having a problem with the audio on YouTube videos lately. Doesn’t stream well even if I’m on the video’s page and is even worse while trying to browse on other windows. Downloaded the latest flash player in the hopes that it would help but it doesn’t seem to have done anything [assuming I did everything right.]
Would anyone know what I can do to fix this?
