i lost someone too. and i wasn’t following johnson. any ideas?
@bijoux: i’m at 299 :\
Oh no!! You’ll get one soon, because you are awesome :). I only lost one so don’t know who yours is.
I followed you, Lights in the Dusk, just to make you feel better.
house can u remove those pictures in the gifs thread please
Haha reminds me of that line from Sam Jackson in Pulp Fiction. “My girlfriend is vegetarian which pretty much makes me a vegetarian”.
What I find disturbing is that she lives with you and writes you this in a letter. I used to be the sort of person who did things like that and it 1) Nearly cost me friendships and 2) Is extremely disrespectful.
I get where she’s coming from morally though. I don’t think an animal life is equal to a human one, but I sure can’t objectively argue that opinion.
Anyway, there’s asking for respect and there’s holding a friendship hostage to extort a lifestyle change.
“trashy snacks like slim Jims,”
Screw this person >:(
That offends me as a meat-eater and as a unhealthy kid. No offense, Rock.
I agree with Jirin, why write a letter? Is this person trying to prove a point by saying you don’t listen?
Yes, I know Slim Jims are famous for being unhealthy, but come on! They’re great!
Haha, it seems like you guys think I had something to do with this letter. I just found the picture on the site “Passive Aggressive Notes”, I have nothing to do with it. I just found it funny. I would die without hamburgers.
Hahaha oh okay. I’m going on that site tonight :)
I need meat. Keeps me afloat.
Sometimes i wonder if vegetarians do it for the health benefits or the attention.
It’s to make themselves feel superior to others.
Hey!! I was a vegetarian for 12 years and I’d cook steak for any friend who wanted one. Now I cook it and eat it.
Well you were a respectable vegetarian then. I used to be too, but that got old real quick. And it wasn’t out of some moral dilemma, but for health issues.
The funny thing is that it weakens their muscles and immune system. The’re actually making themselves somewhat inferior health wise. Just today a ex-vegetarian co-worker said that he went back to meats because every time he sneezed he would pull a muscle due to the lack of protein. LOL
I became a vegetarian when my dad quit smoking. We were each others support system and would celebrate our "quitting " anniversary every year :)
Yes you don’t get a lot of the nutrients that your body needs. I only did it for a bit to control my cholesterol.
I quit smoking cigarettes about a year ago. I switched to electronic cigarettes, which have no smoke, tar, or carcinogens, and what you inhale and exhale is water vapor.
I actually used it in the cinema on my birthday (discretely, of course). That was a wonderful feeling ;)
My cousin is a big-time vape-er (??) And does lots of vape casts online.Hope it works for you, House!!
doesn’t sound right.
I quit smoking about a month ago. Its crazy how easy it is to smoke. But I’m doing it more for the will reasons than for health reasons. I want to learn to relax on my own and not depend on cigs to aid me with the process. Its interesting…
It’s worked for a year, and I love it. My lungs are top shape—I increased my cardio, lost 25 pounds, and am in better shape than when I was 18. It still feels like smoking, you get your nicotine (if you want, you control the level), and you can pick from hundreds of flavors.
Good luck to you both :)
Smoking electronic cigarettes in theaters, eh? Did you look like a Melville badass? ;)
“I became a vegetarian when my dad quit smoking. We were each others support system and would celebrate our "quitting " anniversary every year :)"
That’s sweet :)
This was Wednesday during the day. The theaters were mostly empty. I just sat in the back and was discrete about it. You can even use them at the airport, and in non-smoking bars.
The thing is that I knew a lady who died of lung cancer 20 years after she quit smoking…
Happy belate birthday!
I watched Man on the Moon the other day and apparently Andy Kaufman died of lung cancer, never smoked a day in his life (well, supposedly)…
Thanks, holmes! I saw three 5/5 movies in the theater that day. So awesome.
What you been up to?
