Ha, I too went to rate The Campaign, and was surprised not to find it in the database as well. Anyway, my rating is 4/5 stars. Very funny, if you like Will Ferrell movies you’ll definitely like this one.
I saw that new Meryl Streep / Tommy Lee Jones film and was surprised when I went to rate it and it wasn’t here yet.

yeah the person called m. connor has it right. medical research in the past was based almost exclusively on the male model. it was assumed women’s results would be the same. this has proven to be a major error. women’s bodies are very different. surprise

and i was gonna add that women’s longer lifespan on avg is likely due to a lot of factors but one would probably be less risky behaviors like combat, drag racing, extreme sports, criminal activities, etc. some other reasons there is some evidence u may live longer if you’re castrated, doofu :)

The issue with Catholicism is the tendency to try to educate children in isolation. When children are educated with the notion that there is strict adherence to their exact set of rules, and anything else is equally evil, there tends to be one of two outcomes.
1) Later when they’re exposed to different points of view they’re disillusioned and throw away morality altogether or
2) They form a negative, hateful view of the entire rest of the world for failing to live up to their morals.
It’s a positive thing to raise a child with some kind of moral guideline whether it be religious or humanist. But, you also have to keep them exposed to a lot of people who disagree so they can make the distinction between living up to their own morals and forcing them on other people.

i figure the money i save is paying for hulu plus. i will miss the extras on the rare occasions when they sent criterion discs but i’ve got too many other resources now. and if i really want those extras i could always splurge and buy the disc for a film i really love. hulu plus is pretty great tho bijoux. streaming is the future!!

I recently went to my 20th HS reunion. I’d never been to a previous one, since I didn’t like most of those people. But I’d kept up with two of them and they convinced me to go.
While I was there, sitting at a table, having a great time with my old friends, reminiscing about all the douchebags in our old class, I mentioned that the one guy I’d most like to punch now was N***** D***. Not twenty minutes later I bumped into this guy. He was just as douchey as ever, and I asked him if I could punch him in the face.
He gave me a funny look and I walked off laughing. He remembers me as a dork. But I’m almost a black belt in Kung Fu now, and he’s just a douchebag. Who won?
Thing is, the people that act the way he did (always putting others down, especially girls), really hate themselves deep down. That’s why they act like that. Remember that fact and you’re perspective on them will change.
