Speaking of which, the president of Bialarus was denied entrance to England and the Olympics, using an EU human rights law and citing a bloody putdown of election protests. However, as he was traveling as a member of the Olympic committee, the law didn’t necessarily apply.

finally getting around to buying Blu-Rays. spent $55 on Raging Bull, Mean Streets,Taxi Driver and Goodfellas. The only others I have are Kingdom of Heaven: Director’s Cut, Hanna and Another Earth.

Another Earth was pretty good, but Hanna made me want to punch myself in the crotch.

Hanna I liked a great deal, it was an amalgamation of styles and I felt it worked.

Well, it didn’t suspend my disbelief enough and I hated the score. Saorsie Ronan has such a mystifying presence though.

Yeah, the score, like Drive’s and Fight Club’s is little bit divisive

And give Neil Jordan’s Byzantium a look, it seems interesting.

Really loving the weather lately. It’s like a preview for Fall.

Monsoon season here is bittersweet, everyone enjoys the little rain our poor parched desert receives but with the impending knowledge that it’s not enough to prevent forest fires and it’s going to end within a month.

Well, sophomore year starts for me tomorrow. Thanks to all of you for helping me get through my lonely summer with your awesomeness.

well prepare for the sophomore slump

First day of sophomore year is over. This may have been the most depressing day I can remember having. I feel like utter shit. Not even my only remaining friend from last year looked eager to talk to me.

So much fucking pressure. I’m overwhelmed and feel a bit ill with sadness.

I feel like if I don’t do something involving a camera in high school I’ll never get into the business of filmmaking. Everything looks bleak at this moment.

Cheer up, Lover. You know what I did after the first day of my sophomore year? Popped in my copy of GTA: Vice City on my PS2, killed every pedestrian I could get my hands on.
