The best thing that Godard has given the world</i/>

really?

well that is indeed good to know thanks R Citizen, I don’t have to laboriously trawl through all the rest now. Its the only JLG I’ve seen (with Adrian Martin’s commentary) and I adore that scene which I’ve watched quite a few times.

I feel like a huge weight has been lifted :):)

Also, in the spirit of the occasion, I took it upon myself to correct the spelling of the thread title. :-)

@Tripzone – LOL. In my humble opinion that dance scene and Week-End are the zeniths of his accomplishments. You just can’t improve on Anna Karina. I am so happy I saved another person from having to see 2 or 3 Things I Know About Her. I wish I could un-see it.

I’ve really gotten into Detective in a big way. What a great film from later Godard.

I remember the day I went on to the IMDb and realized, “Wow, this man is still alive?” The funny thing about Godard’s overratedness is his underratedness. There is more to Godard than Alphaville on the Weekend.

Every day he lives is a higher average age for movie directors.
