Thank you, Jules White, for all those great 3 Stooges shorts.

really?
well that is indeed good to know thanks R Citizen, I don’t have to laboriously trawl through all the rest now. Its the only JLG I’ve seen (with Adrian Martin’s commentary) and I adore that scene which I’ve watched quite a few times.
I feel like a huge weight has been lifted :):)
Happy Birthday!
Thanks for all the movies! :)

Hell yes, cheers for Godard, and I hope I’m able to rewatch some of his films soon.
Joyeux Anniversaire!
Also, in the spirit of the occasion, I took it upon myself to correct the spelling of the thread title. :-)

@Tripzone – LOL. In my humble opinion that dance scene and Week-End are the zeniths of his accomplishments. You just can’t improve on Anna Karina. I am so happy I saved another person from having to see 2 or 3 Things I Know About Her. I wish I could un-see it.
Yeah, happy birthday and thank you from me as well:
80! Time sure flies…

Happy Birthday Jean-Luc Godard. Thanks for all the great films.
Happy birthday Jean-Luc! Here’s to another intellectually satisfying 20 years of movie making!
I’ve really gotten into Detective in a big way. What a great film from later Godard.

I remember the day I went on to the IMDb and realized, “Wow, this man is still alive?” The funny thing about Godard’s overratedness is his underratedness. There is more to Godard than Alphaville on the Weekend.
Every day he lives is a higher average age for movie directors.
