Just stopping by to post the pic:

It’s acceptable, but I saw much better options in the fake covers thread. Overall, I’m excited for the release.

I like it, but I agree that I’ve seen better.

My favorite:

Black Irish

I like it quite a bit, but I think it would be better if it just said ‘Antichrist’ and nothing else.

It’s a good one, but I was kind of hoping they would’ve just used the original poster which seemed to be more effective for the film’s story.

Although, Charlotte Gainsbourg’s legs do make for a lovely image… ;)

I love the art, but I’m not a fan at all of the title.

“Audio commentary by von Trier and professor Murray Smith” Murray Smith taught my course on “avant-garde and experimental cinema” class at University of Kent, and opened my eyes to film more than other teacher, thanks to introducing me to the fine works of Brakhage, Maya Derin and other bright stars. So this should be interesting…

They could’ve just borrowed the cover photo from any Iggy Pop album and slapped a giant C above it.

Lester Burnham

Well, it’s certainly a better cover than Paths of Glory.

johnny

Rudy

it would of been cool if the wolve was on the cover

the commentary track with murray smith is also on the U.K edition of the film. it’s a good commentary actually, but it’s also revealing in some ways because the professor noticed a lot more things in the film that Von Trier claims to have not.

It looks as if most, if not all the features are ported over from other DVD editions. I’m excited to finally have a DVD and Blu-Ray release in Region 1 at last.

Antichrist is a nightmare of Lars , only that
but also is the nightmare of everybody about the panic and the evil
DVD cover is only one part of the sickness of Mr Von Trier

Ben.

Antichrist is a film of pain, a film formed out of all of von Trier’s pains and fears. It is personal, and it is painful.

He is not sick, he is only honest.

I love the cover, all the other DVD/Bluray covers for the international releases look terrible. A must have for me.
I’m also excited about the Modern Times Criterion realease

Marc:

Get it Barnes and Noble for $20. The sale ends on the 21st I think.

On the subject of the cover, it’s one of my favourites this year.
