In Praise of Love by JL. Godard
Midnight Meat Train
WHERE DOES YOUR HIDDEN SMILE LIE?
Ali- Michael Mann. See, he does this stuff and I’m like, I am your whore. Kasman knows what I’m talkin’bout.
BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN (2005)
Brad, dude, exclamations points. Not brackets.
I mean seriously…
I’m liking the Hunger post.
wonderful images, everyone.
@KJ right on!
And a personal favorite
Volver (Pedro Almodovar)
Heaven (Tom Tykwer)
Atonement (Joe Wright)
I got a little carried away.
If you have to ask…
Ah, and I was actually looking for that one too but didn’t find it as readily. I really like both those movies, beautiful.
Awesome idea for a thread. I could probably post pictures from about two dozen movies, but I didn’t want to crowd the thread in one post. Maybe I’ll post more later.
The Royal Tennebaums
Children of Men
The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. From beginning to end I found this film to be absolutely stunning. Completely in love w/ it.
Panic Room. David Fincher is genius. It’s a pure aesthetic ride, but such a well designed one.
I thought TAOJJBTCRF (holy shit I never realized how many words were in the title until I did that) was amazing and so unfairly unnoticed by most people.
The Diving Bell and the Butterfly
Lost in Translation
In ten years there’s so much images that stick in your mind…Here two of them:
Requiem For Dream – Darren Aronofsky (2000)
Stellet Licht (Silent Light) – Carlos Reygadas (2007)
Btw, I love the ones of Heaven of Tom Tykwer
