People who don’t post the title of the movies to which the images belong should be banned. Srsly.

Brick – Rian Johnson

Hidden – Haneke

Demonlover – Assayas

Down In The Valley – David Jacobson

Ghost World – Zwigoff

Gone Baby Gone – Ben Affleck

Harmful Insect – Akihiko Shiota

The Matador – Richard Shepard

The New World – Malick

The Wayward Cloud – Tsai

Only one Tsai, otherwise it would be too much trouble uploading pictures. Also the Dogville “map” should be here too, but it’s already posted. And there’s a lot more memorable images from Primer, The Man Who Wasn’t There, Eureka and a huge etc.

MAYBE the most effective shot for me of the entire decade actually. Terrifies me just looking at it here.

Hmmm i can’t decide out of Park Chan-Wook or Sam Mendes, both have had a long line of hits over the decade so i am going to say both of them

SAM MENDES
American Beauty (1999) – Just shy of 2000, but i am going to let it count withing his ten years of work.

Road to Perdition (2002)

Jarhead (2005)

Revolutionary Road (2008) – My favourite of the decade

Away We Go (2009) – I have yet to see this one

And now for Park Chan-Wook:

Joint Security Area (2000) – I have yet to see this one

Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance (2002) – My favourite of the decade

Oldboy (2003)

Sympathy for Lady Vengeance (2005)

I’m a Cyborg, But That’s OK (2006)

Thirst (2009) – I got to see this one at the cinema _

Thirst – shot of Kim Ok-bin wearing the priest’s shoes at the end.
Requiem for a Dream – wide shot of Jennifer Connelly on the pier.
