The Requiem for a Dream poster was intriguing, compelling and powerful. A definite contender, I’d say.

Colin, I’m hopelessly biased, though I have to say I think the international sales poster of I’m Not There is much better (thanks Samantha for posting previously)

OK, it’s Christmas Eve, so please forgive a little more self-indulgence…

This is the film poster for “Melvil” by Melvil Poupaud, designed by the great duo M/M (Paris)
Easy choice but a classic, I think.

!

Hi im new here, from malaysia.
here’s some (in my opinion) of the best of the decade from my country.

just some of my favourite posters,
not necessarily favourite movies
Help…How do I make the poster show up?
Listed in no particular order:

To post images in the forum: Just add an exclamation mark right before and after the image-url.

this thread fills me with joy, I thought maybe the art of the movie poster was as dead as the the idea of a music album… here’s my favourite that hasn’t been mentioned yet. It’s not a great film at all (though I liked it more than many did), and I could do without the floating heads at the top, but I just love the main image, It’s the rollerboots that make it for me:

and El Topo:

Tyler Aikens
Keep in mind these are my favorite posters (that I can think of right now), not favorite movies.
Evangelion 2.0: You Can (Not) Advance
Japanese poster
Ghost In The Shell 2: Innocence
US/Canadian poster
Slaughtered Vomit Dolls
This is the DVD cover. Could not find the poster version online, which is the same thing but only with the hand-written title. Stay away from the actual movie though.
Sympathy for Lady Vengeance
Polish poster
The difference between this and the others is that this one has two of the movie’s guns at the top.
May
US/Canadian poster
Let The Right One In
US/Canadian poster
Mutants
French poster
A Snake Of June
Italian poster
House of the Devil
US/Canadian poster
Thirst
Korean poster
