Nevermind, had to log in apparently. AWESOME Eternal Sunshine. And Kazaam is such a sick movie, I have dreams of it raining chocolate bars.

@ josh ryan: Thanks, I tried to make it resemble the dream-like almost-psychedelic tone of the film.

Hey guys.

I love this thread, it’s great to see how creative people are, especially when it comes to making some Criterion covers.

I took a stab and made quite a few of them. Right now all the ones I finished are Lynch pieces. I would love some feedback!

Some Inland Empire love with the Rabbit.

The original idea was to have just Arrakis with a Sting silhouette but, at about the halfway point, I got too scared dealing with the picture of Sting.

A personal favorite of mine, the idea for Lost Highway took a while to come up with.

And here are the rest of the Lynch ones I have done so far:

It was either this one or a Warhol-esq picture with Pabst Blue Ribbon cans.

And last but not least, an Elephant Man one to wrap it up.

I’m sure this has been done before, but I’d like to have input and see what everyone else thinks…

That Three Colors box set is terrific! I’m also digging Daniel A’s Vertigo and Chris’s Blue Velvet. I’d like to see the PBR version as well, it sounds pretty clever.

My take on Almodóvar’s Broken Embraces… not too crazy about it though.

The Broken Embraces cover is good, but perhaps could stand to be dominated by more solid colors – like Almadovar’s poster(s).

Thought I’d try my hand at Blue Velvet since it’s a popular one on this thread.

ok that took longer than i thought it would.

@daniel: A minor suggestion: I would move the “David Lynch’s” lower to the black area so it wouldn’t interfere with the picture of the book (just like what you did for Broken Embraces). Good stuff, nonetheless.
