Thanks guys for all the compliments. I had such an inspriation with the Goddard Covers that I just create whatever I can. I like still images, but I like to make a concept that fits the films. I’m a Goddard fan, so I just did the artwork. However my Weekend could be better, but I too like the Alphaville cover — I did the fading E=m2 franction myself.
Forgot to mention, great work on Midnight Cowboy Manu.
thanks guys for all the kind words :)
i love messing around with fonts, it’s not easy sometimes.
i did colorize the midnight cowboy a little – was real fun working on that one.
love that Alphaville cover – very nice work the font color is awesome !!
Sorry to post the same cover twice, but I noticed too late that the text was off-centre. Here’s how it should look:
awesome last days, kevin.
Thanks guys for the kind words bout mah covers
I dig your artwork Rob; real nice cover designs by everyone. For me, this is yet another hopeful. Something I mixed up for H-G Cluzot’s La Verité – The Truth, and you know what they say about the fury of a woman’s scorned.
Love that cover Jay B.
As always, great work JB!
This I made some time ago, and I’m not sure why CC didn’t include it to begin with.
Designed to be wedged in the box.
Excellent work Rob and Jay, I love that La Verite cover especially.
I love checking back here and seeing new photos. Beautiful covers!
Good work likewise RN, and KT, love ya Ichi cover.
This thread is always good for a smile. I love the covers
Haven’t been here in a while…
Just posting some oldies I did way back when…
Welcome back Peter! Loved your covers – The Big Lebowski is probably my all-time favorite.
Thanks, Strummerfan :D I’ve been cheating on you guys – got caught up in some other graphic-art projects, channeling creativity in other worlds.
YES!!!!!! Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story as a Criterion cover! Hallelujah! You are THE MAN Peter_S!
Very cool, Peter. I was definitely hoping you hadn’t left us forever! With your obvious talent, it’s good to hear that you do more than post covers on this board. :) Hopefully that’s a paying job for you!
Didn’t realize it’s now with Blue Underground — oh well!
Peter S., Jay B.: hell yeah. Awesome work, fellas.
And in hopes of a blu-upgrade
Ohhh, Robert. I do indeed like your Criterion version of Phantom of the Paradise! Incorporating the Swan logo is great!
