this looks to me of more of a cover of a film in a criterion box set, may do one similar for the mirror as they would be great together in a box set
Great Stalker cover!
thank you! now all thats left to do is force kino to sell the rights to criterion, restore feature, throw in lots of special features and give it to me for free

My first entry(s)

i’m quite proud of this, i made this entire template from scratch and i would trade my left arm for this release (not unlike franz biberkopf!), enjoy.

btw yes, a lot of his other television films such as martha are most likely better and more highly regarded than these, (of these i’ve only seen women in new york) but i chose these as most others are more widely available such as in the uk boxsets of fass, and also because i’d like to see films such as martha and bolwieser have complete criterion releases
I would 100% LOVE for a Fassbinder set of his T.V. films that have yet to be released. Good job.

Here are a few new designs I hope you guys will get a kick out of.
The Bridesmaids design was done as part of a contest, but the other two seem like legitimate films worth a potential Criterion treatment.

Well, holy shit… this thing is still going on. It’s been a while since I’ve wandered ‘round these parts, obviously, and my photobucket account with the url’s to my original posts has long been discarded, but it’s great to see that things are still relatively alive and kicking. Forgive me if I don’t go back through the thread and look at all your work, but golden stars shall be given to all.
Anyways, I found myself with some time to waste this evening, and while lamenting the current decline in Criterion’s own official cover art, I put this together. The first “fake Criterion cover” I’ve done in well over a year…

And with that, I bid you all a fond farewell, and off I disappear into the real world once again.
Someone more talented than myself should create a Certified Copy cover, seeing as how the real one kinda sucks.

You all do some amazing work. I’m still learning my way around Adobe CS so hopefully we’ll see some improvements. Will definitely be cranking out some dream films, some worthy of the C treatment, and of course, the best of the worst!
Anyone care to do a take on a Criterion cover for M. Night Shyamalan’s The Village? I have my fingers crossed that Criterion’s working on it, as it’s yet to be given a blu-ray release. Oh, and it’s an under appreciated masterpiece too.
