I knew a Pat lookalike in high school whose name was Pat.

What exactly is the appeal to Marie Antoinette or The Virgin Suicides other than being designed to appeal to insecure teenaged females? Did I miss something epic and artistic in those two movies? In fact I haven’t really been impressed in the least by any of Sophia’s films. Am I missing something because I lack a vagina? Someone please fill me in on these (if possible)

With Patriotism, Night & Fog and Simon of the Desert getting their own full and individual releases, perhaps someday we’ll see more short films such as this…

Extras would obviously include all other Court 13 short films, including the equally brilliant Death to the Tinman.

Every one of these on this page are brilliant

Hey Brandon (or another one of the masters) can you try one for The King of Comedy? I would try but the original poster is so brilliant anything I did would pale in comparison. I would love to see what you guys can do though.

Brilliant thread. I’m new here but that doesn’t mean I can’t throw my hat into the ring. This took me about 10 minutes…

What program(s) do a lot of the people use to make these covers and where do you get the C logo and the year and text boxes for them?

The road warrior one is a masterwork, Daniel. I love how you filtered in the grain, in attempt to imitate the visuals of the film. Awesome.

Add me to the list of people who saw this thread, got really excited and inspired and wanted to participate, and then remembered: “Oh, wait. I suck at Photoshop.” :(

Amazing work, everyone. Very creative!

Wonderful work everyone. My question now is, have any of you been approached to work on an actual cover since posting these great images?
Keep these going for ever pls; it’s the most entertaining forum thread yet. I bow down to your talents all.

I’m certain that when Criterion releases their special edition of Maximum Overdrive they’ll come knocking on my door for design assistance. I’m looking forward to making more covers for hilariously bad movies this weekend. And possibly one or two good ones, too.

I did another one..
