They’re both very good. If you ask me, some more imperfections in the first one would break up the yellow and work better.
‘Maybe if you took the blue square away it would become more simplistic, but what do I know.’
Plus, I was thinking what if the red and yellow colors were reversed? That is, the background would be red and the lettering yellow.
Josh Ryan, Aw man you are right! That is on the cover! I was trying to scratch it off of my screen. haha
here is my entry, a little early I know.

Nice “Carrie” David. I like it. Mines kinda got a similar style.
I know it’s a tv show. but it’s a damn good one.
Josh S., actually the cover didn’t take too long to make. I just took an old poster and did some modifications. I would not be offended by a color suggestion.
Drew, I like the idea of taking away the box.
here’s a resize of the dexter cover. didn’t relize it was so big.
sorry didn’t work
Both the Tetro covers were amazing. Same with the Dr. Strangelove cover. Keep ’em coming!
This thread makes me happy. Thank you to everyone who does the covers.
your welcome catherine. here’s another:

Scott: Great design.
For the weekly challenge:

I also remembered that someone requested covers for Polanski’s Apartment Trilogy earlier so, two birds . . .

Jaspar—that’s one of your best, bro.

Love this movie.
I hand drew the C to give it a flair, and because im lazy.

Dill that Tetro cover is amazing.
George: Brilliant. Amazing.

Erik: I did a cover for rosemary’s baby exactly like that one a couple pages back.
Rosemary’s Baby…very creepy. I recall Dave’s too…also very creepy….
Dave…any Bava is good Bava!
oh sorry I didn’t know david
David:
I like the Twitch of the Death Nerve cover a lot, and I keep imagining how it would look if the font were much smaller, so the background was where the eye played more. Just a suggestion. Your work is consistently great.
So what’s next for the Fakers? Who has the next brilliant challenge idea?
Historical fiction films.
How about:
Films where someone is attacked by an animal.
How about:
Films where a main character has a mustache.
Drew.
Hmm that’s tough. The second one is brilliant and wonderfully detailed, but just something about the simplicity of the first one makes me prefer it.
Maybe if you took the blue square away it would become more simplistic, but what do I know.
