Split, Croatia blew me away, It felt like something in La Dolce Vita.

Another thread revival but I’ll have to browse the collection first before I contribute in case I accidentally post a previously posted landmark and / or location here!
Besides, we need threads like these since most of the forum is swarmed with repetitive themes and directors and academics discussing boring, thematic bullshit.
Check this thread along with other amazing ones on my profile page
Perhaps not as pristine as some of the other places posted, but still one of the more significant contributions made to contemporary art culture (plus its only 10 minutes away from my apartment.) 5 Pointz aka The Institute of Higher Burnin aka 5Pointz Aerosol Art Center, Inc. is an outdoor art exhibit space in Queens, New York, considered to be the world’s premiere “graffiti Mecca,” where aerosol artists from around the globe paint colorful pieces on the walls of a 200,000-square-foot factory building.

The Line Islands, Teraina Islands or Equatorial Islands, is a chain of eleven atolls and low coral islands in the central Pacific Ocean, south of the Hawaiian Islands, that stretches for 2,350 km in a northwest-southeast direction, making it one of the longest islands chains of the world.
.. tiny Taburean (Fanning) Island in south Pacific…11 miles long, 7 miles wide, no electricity…sustained 40% tsunami damage to their seaweed farms, their main source of income. Samoan Islands were luckier than last year when they were hit hard after Chilean tsunami. This time only some flooding and no loss of life.
