@ Jazz, no I didn’t mean Paki Park …what I meant was the Pres. bounced his bball in the Punahou-Makiki area – not far from Paki. Check out “In the Car” with Andy Bumatai on youtube .. recent interview with marine conservationist and artist WYLAND you might enjoy.
Wait, are you saying Paki (Park) is close to the Punahou-Makiki area? That’s pretty far to me. Thanks for the tip on the Andy’s new episodes. (Is your brother still performing at Che Pasta?)

The Kapahulu neighbor is really nice, and I imagine it was pretty nice back in the day (although not swank like the Kahala area). My father actually lived in the same area for a while.
For what it’s worth, prez O bounced his basketball not too far from here in the 70’s.
Are you talking about Paki Park? Yeah, it was one of the best places to get games (although I never played there).
I wouldn’t mind checking out Andy and the other comics. (I like Augie, too—but not so much the other guys.) Maybe I can check out Frank at Cafe Che Pasta. (I’m assuming this is the restaurant near Bishop and Hotel.)
