The Dr. Dre Appreciation thread

Meh.

I’m not biased against hip-hop. There’s many hip hop acts that I like, but I tend to like the ones that have really good beat and wordplay. Dr Dre is one of the more marketing-oriented rappers, and most of his material just focuses on having lots of money, screwing lots of women, and shooting people. He’s good at taking advantage of his market, but he’s over overrated as a rapper.

You do know that Dre doesn’t write his own lyrics, don’t you? Just checking. Before we really start to evaluate him on his lyrical abilities.
