I am sorry to have missed this film. There’s a similarly exciting scene in Berlin Alexanderplatz where a sex scsne turns all bloody. I like that.

I can’t think of another mainstream film (however tangentially) than Vincent Gallo’s_ The Brown Bunny_. that puts oral sex in such graphic terms. Chloë Sevigny has said she regretted doing it. I though it was an essential part of the film but it was tame stuff when compared to a gay porno bj. As a general rule of thumb I dislike sex scenes in film that might be described as an art film. or of serious intention for one thing they fall way short on the possibilities. Wait a minute, Ken Park by Larry Clark is an good example of film sex that works. Can’t think of any others just now.
