Thanks for pointing this out – it’s corrected now. But as G-Legs already mentioned, for cases like this we have our “Film & Cast Member Database” thread.
Every other time you visit the site:
Share whatever film you’re watching on Facebook! Some person you don’t know watched Memento, add it to your timeline!
Not interested? Fine, then just click away this annoying dialog over and over. Using iPhone? HA!! We fixed positioned this bitch so if you expand the screen to be able to tap the tiny ‘not now’ link, it goes unreachably off the screen. You’ll show off every single movie you ever watch to your uninterested friends and like it.
Still being in beta in 2012? :)
I’ve always found Mubi to be remarkably prompt in correcting errors submitted through the “Film & Cast Member Database” thread.
OK,
The Most Embarrassing Mubi-blunders:
1) Sam Spiegel composed the score for ON THE WATERFRONT
2) Martinus didn’t know about the “Film & Cast Member Database” thread.
Case closed.

More than a year ago Theolini pointed out an embarrassing blunder on the cast and crew list of ON THE WATERFRONT; the great score of that film was of course written by Leonard Bernstein and not Sam Spiegel. But today it’s still there: ‘MUSIC: Sam Spiegel.’ When ridiculous errors like these, and there are lot of them, cannot be corrected sooner and easier by MUBI-users, I don’t think MUBI will survive very long.
Maybe we can start by making a list of the MOST EMBARRASSING MUBI-BLUNDERS?
