The one with the guy filming the cow/ bee would be great!
There definitely needs to be a cow on the t-shirt, but a bee and a camera would certainly be nice additions.
I’m totally into the cow and the bee hahahaha
I personally need a t-shirt that says the following:
give me 5 dollars and I’ll tell you what it means.”
Front of Shirt
Back of shirt
I’VE GOT MUBI FEVER
SHE’S GOT MUBI FEVER
WE’VE GOT MUBI FEVER
WE’RE IN LOVE
SHE’S GONE BERGMAN HAZY
I’VE GONE SEMBENE CRAZY
WE’RE EACH OTHERS BABY
WE’RE IN LOVE!
wow Mike, I am NOT wearing that.
is that caricature intended to be racist?
I mean, whoa.
I shall adjust for long sleeve and cheap printing too, soon!
@ Laura Hammer
I should have mentioned long-sleeve jersey. A simple coolmax affair. I do like the diagonal MUBI logos though.
Also, not to put too much creative restraint on people, but it will likely be easier to produce (and cheaper) if the base color of the shirt is white. (sorry to those who posted such nice yellow and green ones).
Hahaha! Don’t all caricatures look that way? I’ve never seen a good one:)
I think the shirts should have the best quotes from Mubi members on the back. We could have the Dimitris Collection. Sir Douglas has truly had some good quotes (and I mean that honestly), Greg X, Spence. And there could be the popular Jerry Johnson line. Mubi wants to promote it’s members, that’s kinda what was said when they made the name.
I dig Laura’s design
I do too, except it needs to work in that little penguin icon that appears in your profile if you haven’t uploaded a profile pic.
I wonder if Janus Films ever wondered if their t-shirts can easily catch people’s attention when shirt is partly seen in a jacket or so…
is that a clue that there’s going to be a special edition Le Cercle Rouge?
one month to go…
I’m a little late to the party, and a little more serious than the rest, but what about taking some of the profile banner images (edited screenshots of great films), doing a “mubi(logo)” cutout in the bottom right corner, and putting it on a shirt? Some of them are gorgeous…I’d buy one.
I want the Rich Uncle Skeleton sleeveless tee.
in the mubi for love.
mubi over, darling.
an affair to remubi.
etc etc, you get the point.
(some are more pun-ny than others. :))
OR OR OR:
MUBI O. COM
what does the o. stand for?
An affair to remubi… Ah ha ha! Love it!
