Bergman’s silence terrifies me.

Amen.

Just for him, I will smile on this summer night.

Preferably with a buxom Swedish housemaid …

I will suffer from a lifelong struggle with profound metaphysical concerns today in his honor.

Watched Wild Strawberries last night… my second Bergman, after Persona a couple years ago… not realizing it was so close to his birthday. Happy birthday IB.

I guess The Auteurs, with its random birthday well wishers, is becoming IMDB’s Hermit C-2, Mark II.

Mother-truck. I wasn’t aware that it was Bergman’s birthday today. Hooray for Bergman! Sadly, he is no longer with us…

Happy birthday, Ingmar! I promise to watch one of your movies in the near future (it’s ridiculous, I know, never having seen a Bergman film)!

Happy Birthday Ingmar Bergman! Bergman is probably my all-time favorite film director alongside with David Lynch. Watched Winter Light today because that was Bergman’s favorite Bergman film.

I always thought it interesting—- apropos—— that Bergman was Sun Sign Cancer…

Berjuan

He himself was. His movies weren’t.
