Having seen all 3 films, and awaiting Stillman’s latest film, I have to say they are more universal than some would think. Money and class doesn’t make folks obnoxious, overly-talkative, and lead pointless lives. I’m poor and I do it all the time. I love these films. Everytime I go to a party and there’s a good enough number of like-minded individuals, we do our absolute best to be annoying and whiny. And I’m being sincere for once.
