Themes of David Fincher

Hi. Couldn’t see any similiar topics. I’m currently doing my Film A – Level. I am was wondering whether anyone could help me with some of the themes that are present in David Fincher’s work (particularly Se7en, Fight Club and Zodiac) and also what in Finchers life influenced the themes he uses?

The most obvious one is obsession and the unknowable in Zodiac. The actual killings had a profound impact on Fincher, who grew up in the 1970s in the SF area when the killings occurred.
