Sadly, the only available YouTube clip, click here.
Beautiful.
I haven’t seen it either but really want to!
Wow, tears are in my eyes…
You can get it on DVD from Cahiers du Cinéma if you have a region-free player. It’s in a 2-disc set along with Passion. Both films have English subs. Nouvelle Vague is one of my favorite Godard films (and there are many).
Looks like no one has commented this in quite a while, but in case anyone happens to stumble across this thread, I just wanted to let everyone know that you can download the movie if you become a member of surrealmoviez.info. This website is an amazing database of rare, hard to find films. Once you’re in the main site, click under the Director’s list (at the left hand side of the screen) and there’s a Godard section. They have 68 out of his 90 movies and Nouvelle Vague is #24. Hope this helps!
This and Germany 90 year Zero are at the top of my list. I got just about every other Godard covered…….oh and JLG/JLG
JLG/JLG has (had?) distribution from cinema parallel. http://www.cinemaparallel.com/faxorderform.html $90 for the VHS, though, if they still have copies sitting around.

@OEDIPAX – I still have yet to find “Nouvelle Vague” on DVD. Has anyone on here ordered directly from Cahiers du Cinéma?
Out of the Godard films that I have yet to see, this and Sauve Qui Peut(la vie) are at the top of my list of films that I must find a way to see. I thought I would never get to see Histories du Cinema but I just bought a region free player and I’m working my way through it right now.
Daniel Kasman
This film topped the Film Comment Selects best undistributed films of the 1990s list. I’m dying to see it!
