I have two films that I have been on the fence about blind-buying. Zazie dans le Métro, and Paris Texas.
Any thoughts on buying these two?
Paris, Texas is great. Haven’t seen Zazie though.
Hopefully no one is awaiting the upcoming release of Tiny Furniture. If you’ve seen it already and like it then that’s cool. If not then rent it or something. It’s terrible. Nothing but a bunch of smart assed babies and a terrible depiction of the generation (my generation). And a terrible use of the digital medium.
Paris, Texas is the film I have come closest to buying, but I don’t have much knowledge of Wim Wenders’ films so that held me back. I’m really interested in Zazie dans le Métro simply because I will watch any French New Wave film. Thanks for the reply Tommy.
Zazie is visually stunning, an absolute original, Life.
Since Christmas is almost here…
You should buy this (if you like rare hardcore horror):
ALUCARDA (Juan López Moctezuma, 1978)
Brentos
Has anyone seen Howard’s End? it looks good but i haven’t met anyone that’s seen it and i’ve been thinking about just getting it as a blind buy.
