I’m indifferent to both dogs and cats.
Sorry Apursansar, Change my vote to kats. I just remembered this kat, one of the all time greatest art forms.
There was luckily some editing time left, and we´re now having a draw. The comic-strip makes it clear that cats are intelligent and helpful.
No one mentions architecture?

Robert W. Shermanpeabody III——Wow, I totally forgot about that! I’ll put that as my third favorite art! Here is yet another picture….

1.Film
2.Literature. Not just novels though. A lot of nonfiction and some poetry.
3.Music
4.Painting
5.Plays
6.Sculpture
7.Architecture
Some of these art forms I am not familiar with as others or don’t know a lot about them, but I find them interesting.
Big dogs > Cats >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Small dogs
Big dogs meaning anything labrador size or bigger.
You might like that one, William:

Dogs
Arbetet—-who said that? though I have heard that ‘grand theft auto’ approaches art…
That means the final result is:
Dogs (5 votes)
Cats (3 votes)
A clear victory of Goliath contra David.
Sandwich stacking:
apursansar—-But Krazy Kat beats them all!!!!!
HAHAHAHA!!!
1. film
2. music
3. popsicle sticks
whichever is most beneficial to the artist
AOAIJEA—-Yeah, but what’s most beneficial to you? That’s the question.
Theater, anyone? To me, that’s the greatest, but then that’s what I do. It has to do with the immediacy of it, of being in the same room as the performers, of what can go wrong, which is often when it goes right.
Film, sure, but as Orson Welles said, “It’s canned.”
Drawing. Before there’s painting, there’s drawing.
Poetry. Because every good novelist must be at heart a poet.
Music, which is what all the above aspire to in terms of fluidity and immediacy.
Thinking . Sex . Literature . / Suicide
Sex is not art, it’s gross.
Greg—-“It’s canned”, Yes, but the best filmmakers can it in a beatiful fashion.
Shotzi—-I was just thinking about how anything can be an art form, torture, stuffed animals, cow brands, hell, even pooping can be an art.
Great art often crosses boundaries. Rodin put dance into sculpture; Degas put it into painting. Shakespeare (and many others) put verse into drama. Winsor McCay put graphic novels into the comic strip before the former was even around. BUT, for me, this would be the top three:
1. Cinema
2. Drama
3: Comic strips
…honourable mention to television, btw. Episodic story-telling is underappreciated.

Eesh, I’m really sorry about that… my computer froze when I clicked reply.
Episodic story-telling DEFINITELY won’t be under-appreciated now.
Holy shit, chris!!!!!!
I’m glad to see you put comic strips in your top three however. What’s your favorite strip? I Looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove ‘Krazy Kat!’
