2. Festival in Cannes
3. Can She Bake a Cherry Pie
Wow, Dennis! I have the same three favorites but in reverse order.
1. Can She Bake A Cherry Pie
2. Festival In Cannes
3. Venice/Venice
Good taste!!
What is yr least favorite:
mine is probably Tracks or Sitting Ducks (I am not counting the short he did for National Lampoon’s Movie Madness)
Babyfever is the only one that I couldn’t get into. I think Victoria Foyt is an incredible actress but the story just wasn’t there for me. I wish she was still acting. Jaglom’s new muse, Tanna Frederick is amazing. He knows how to pick ’em.

3. Last Summer In The Hamptons
" He knows how to pick ’em"
he sure does, and Andrea M. before those two. Foyt is very much missed, the fact that she is not so young anymore could have sent Jaglom’s films onto a whole new series of topics, that being said, Tanna is as good as it gets.

@Dennis – Tanna is incredible. She can do so much with her face – kind of like a Jim Carrey. She can look absolutely gorgeous one minute and really goofy the next. She seems pretty limber. I wonder if she can do the things with her body that he does, Steve Martin is pretty good at the body stuff, too.
@Dennis – your right about Andrea Marcovicci. She’s wonderful, too. I really loved her in Irene In Time. And how about Patrice Townsend before her? She was really good, too.
glad to see everyone loves the new work.
I happy to think Jaglom is one of few directors getting better with age, just wish he would still act in em
Me too.
How can one see the film Can She Bake A Cherry Pie?: Is it on DVD?
It is on DVD. Netflix probably has it. if you’re in LA, you can rent it from either Rocket Video on La Brea or Vidiot’s in Santa Monica.
Where do people find Jaglom films anyway? His earlier stuff preferably.
he has a website where he sells his films, if that helps
Thanks. I am curious about this Rocket Video on La Brea. I am from NYC but I am hearing alot about it. Here in NYC we had this store called Kim’s but sadly it has become a one floor DVD store before it was like 4 flours of movie geek heaven. At one point the 4th floor was a lounge where you could smoke and just chill out, the 3rd floor was the rental spot where they had everything great on VHS and a lot of lost stuff. The second floor was the dvd store/ records and in the northern corner was the porn section..First floor was music cds/movie posters. Kims is still around and I go to it but its not what it used to be but I will take what I can get.
Also check with his office at the Rainbow Film Company on Sunset Blvd in LA. They’ll definitely know. I looked up the number for you. It’s 323-271-0202.
Thanks Louise, :D
