I started a twitter for my cinematic blog @AlliCinema
I’m trying to keep in touch w/as many Auteurs people as possible.

Is TWITTER better than FACEBOOK?

I’ve been on FACEBOOK, and mostly people just say idiotic, obvious things….. and get idiotic, obvious responses.

Is TWITTER an improvement on that?

I can see why someone in the public eye would want to use Twitter as a fan and promotional service but I really don’t understand an average joe regularly using Twitter. Whatever floats your boat I guess.

I use twitter. It’s fantastic for current events, local/foreign news and political commentary.

I also keep upto date with musicians, composer’s for live dates, album releases, etc. It’s really dismissive not to see the value of Twitter.
