It’s Spanish. Javier Bardem was in it. Fernando León de Aranoa directed it. I am completely unfamiliar with him. This movie was incredible, though. It was about dock workers who had been laid off and so on and so forth — has anyone seen this movie? It may be really well known but it was new to me. So many great performances.

Steve James doc. Very moving and upsetting. Probably one of the ten best I’ve seen from 2008. Steve James is a filmmaking hero.
