i doubt it’s censored. There is another rumour that the film was shot in 2:35 but was cropped to 1:85 for dvd but every source i’ve read claims the film was actually shot in 1:85.
The cropping issue is quite common though. i heard that Romanian film 3 Months………….was shot 2:35 but all the dvd’s are 1:85
I know Blow-up has similar issues, since the region one dvd is 1.85:1 and cuts out Vanessa Redgrave’s breasts. Other sources say that when they revealed her breasts, the print was showing too much and that 1.85 without the breasts was the intended aspect ratio.

The US DVD is PAL-NTSC, so it’s not censored.

I noticed the running time of the film is 110 minutes, but the region one DVD is 105 minutes. Is it censored or taken from a PAL source?
