@Poopbut
How does the three colors trilogy have great rewatchability value. It’s an amazing series of films, but their so depressing….. They don’t seem like films you would watch with your buddies for a “good time”

Dennis Brian

well, u heard wrong. It was a great gangster pic that had the misfortune of going up against the overrated Goodfellas and that is why it lost the best picture oscar and didn’t get the proper crowds

Well, the films I’ve enjoyed watching more than once include:

The Lord of the Rings trilogy
The 39 Steps (Hitchcock)
The Lady Vanishes (Hitchcock)
North by Northwest
Three Days of the Condor
All the President’s Men
Conspiracy Theory
Bridget Jones Diary

A British TV comedy series I recently discovered – The IT Crowd – is also something I’ve re-watched several times and, amazingly, the episodes still make me laugh each time.

Conspiracy Theory is one of the worst, big star movies ever made. How could u watch that crap more than once

@muleyhaven, to each his own. Okay, it’s not an auteur film. And neither is Bridget Jones Diary. But Conspiracy Theory has an original and intriguing concept and it fulfills that concept with energy and verve. Plus, no one plays crazy and yet endearing as well as Mel does here. His characterization of Jerry Fletcher is alone worth the price of admission. It’s as brilliant as any of Richard Widmark’s crazies. Plus, CT is a great love story. BTW, the question was “What 5-10 Films have the greatest rewatchability factor?” The question wasn’t about the auteur factor of the film – just the watchability. Again, to each his own.

The Apartment
Casablanca
Star Wars
Once Upon a Time in the West
Fight Club
A Clockwork Orange
Die Hard :P

I tried to include movies of different natures and different reasons for rewathcability. All in all these are some of the movies I enjoy watching the most.

“What 5-10 Films have the greatest rewatchability factor”

A LOT!!!!!

only 5-10? no way dude, no way…that question should be answered by “critics” though, so we can all realize how conventional most of their replies will be aka same old song and dance.
