Robbins Barstow produced some of the best home movies of all time (not that it’s a terribly competitive genre). I believe his film Disneyland Dream (1956) is now on the National Film Registry (it is also, technically, Steve Martin’s first film). It’s quite something:

I wouldn’t say this is a favorite ephemeral film, but it presents the compelling idea that in 1987 some individual or group of individuals believed that there was a segment of the population that was both open to being offered crack, and to the suggestions of Kirk Cameron. It was just a race to see who got to them first.
