1970s – Annie Hall (Manhattan is a close second)
1980s – A Midsummer Night’s Sex Comedy

80’s – Crimes and Misdemeanors
90’s – Mighty Aphrodite (though that’s the only one I’ve seen)
00’s – Match Point
10’s – Ughhh, Midnight in Paris I guess. I would have enjoyed it so much more if it hadn’t been hyper-hyped, but regardless, I feel like he can do better in the next few years)

Both films were in fact rather good. Neither comes anywhere near Woody’s best but they mark a clear improvement on embarrassing trash like Match Point and Vicky Cristina Barcelona. Viva Woody!
