For real – I really love this flick
Films from Judd Apatow and his crew. The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Knocked Up, Superbad, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Anchorman.
And yes, early Adam Sandler, Billy Madison, Big Daddy, The Waterboy.
Swing Shift (it’s directed by Jonathan Demme, but apparently after a falling out, star Goldie Hawn re-edited it…I find it extremely watchable)….I can’t explain it.
Freddy vs. Jason. And to be honest, I’m not even really guilty about it.
I thought Labyrinth was genuinely good for what it is. David Bowie in spandex with great extensions, what’s not to love?
Garden State for me, and dance films. All of them.

I love this movie with a passion.
Spanglish has something on me that I can not resist O_O
Clueless and The Catholic Boys
The Family Stone isn’t exactly a classic but it’s got Luke Wilson, Dianne Keaton, and Rachel McAdams and I own it and have watched it a million times…
Also Valley Girl…Nicholas Cage just cracks me up.
@JPB:
When JCVD does that flashkick in Street Fighter – not once but TWICE – that’s when I realized impossible is merely a matter of self-imposed limitations.
With that said, the hadoken got shafted in that movie.
I probably have too many guilty pleasure movies… but I feel like I balance things out enough, so it’s ok. :)
I have seen The Mummy (the Brendan Fraser one…) at least 30 times. French Kiss with Kevin Klein is another.
I also have a penchant for bad action movies and bad horror movies.
fuck yes @ Street Fighter, the schlock classic.
My personal favorite bad movie is undoubtedly ‘Mystery Men’
ZOOLANDER.
Beerfest. no matter how many time i watch this movie it makes me love drinking beer and i laugh my ass off…that is, if and when i don’t pass out half way through.

I feel like I’m coming out of the closet with this one !
Street Fighter is the greatest movie ever made and deserves its on Criterion version on dvd. The monologues are ridiculous, especially JCVD’s speech to the troops. The conversation between Chun-Li and Bison is hilarious, as was Ken’s godawful “sho-ryu-ken” or whatever.
“GAME OVER!”
Jason X
Even among the slasher flicks this one is much maligned, and I think it’s my favorite.
is Ghostbusters too good to be a guitly pleasure?
No such thing. I regret nothing.

freddy got fingered
i am not ashamed
Blind Fury
I’m going in with ‘The Beastmaster’, a bit of sword and sorcery never hurt anybody.

Also I was going to mention ‘Tremors’, but that film is literally too good to be classed a guilty pleasure.
Jess Franco’s Venus in Furs.
The stint of films that nicolas cage starred in around the late 90’s, con air, the rock, face/off..
I don’t feel guilty for any of my pleasures.
Ya’ll should def check out RIVERS EDGE tho. Funniest flick ever,,,and it’s a drama
LOVE LOVE LOVE the nic cage 90’s blockbusters btw. also broken arrow was pretty kickass. poor christain slater. what happened. i had such big plans for you.
I don’t believe pleasures should be guilty, unless they cause harm. If i like something it’s worth liking. Here’s one i like that some people may consider beneath them..

Your MAD MAD MAD MAD MAD
Yes, it’s a Mad Mad Mad Mad World. I loved it when i was about 12, still liked it last time round, and why disown my childhood?
Dalton R.
What bad film can you not help but like for some reason?
Mine is The Labyrinth, with David Bowie.
