Client 9 The Rise and Fall of Eliot Spitzer

I’ve had Ronee Blakely singing “My Idaho Home” from the amazing final scene of NASHVILLE in my head all day.

I’ll try it for you, Tom:

And this from the same part of the film, the part where the cardinal interrupts Mastroianni and talks about the melancholy song of a bird:

I don’t think that worked, thats the link.

don’t use the preview image. go to full-size image, copy the url, put an exclamation mark before and after, no spaces. it makes the url a lot shorter.
ahhhh nice nice, thanx mucho Ruby :)

@stonez— de nada ;)

Joks — that is crazy beautiful, what film is it from?
^^Extraordinary isn’t it? It’s from Colossal Youth, by Pedro Costa.
lots of images from that film have been burning in my mind since i last watched it 2 weeks ago.
his use of lighting is seriously amazing in that film, and in Vanda’s Room. it can be so subtle at times that it almost passes you by. the shot i posted is one of the most obvious ‘wow’ shots.
or should i say, the use of natural light. more images:

Do you recommend this film? I want to put something of his on my watch list. I’ve seen his name mentioned time and again on this site.
This one:

The last scene of L’Illusionniste
I finally saw it last night at the theater near my school. I can’t stop thinking about it

“Michael, do you know how naive you sound? Presidents and senators don’t have people killed.”
“Now who’s being naive, Kay?”
