What film scene is in your head today?

Ruby, I know what you mean… It would have been tactful to wait a while to write such a story, instead of profiting the way that gossip publications do…

Yeah, I wonder how Agatha Chrisite would have reacted if someone had turned the tables and written a mystery based on her own private 11 days missing nervous breakdown drama.

I saw a movie with Peter Falk and Jill Clayburgh, “Griffith and Phoenix” about two cancer patients who fall in love and the scene where after Clayburgh’s death Peter Falk smashes the windshields of about 10 cars lined up on the street. Awesome acting by one of my favorite actors.

Deckard/Ruby : wonderful!…they are showing ALL of Cassavettes’ films in July here in Toronto w/ Gena doing an hour interview before presenting Woman Under The Influence!…very exciting.

all day It’s been the scene in Ken Loach’s Kes when the kid is in front of the class enthralling the students/teacher about his falconry. magical scene

the shadow boxes at the natural history museum are pretty awesome.

Yes — I saw it for at least the second time last night. Struck me as even more funny and camp than it did before, for some reason. Guess after you’ve seen a certain amount of noir films, you could almost speak the dialogue with the characters before you know you’ve done it, lol!

But hey, Glenn Ford is cute:

Well, I for one would rather be in his arms than Gloria’s… ;)

he always seemed kind of wooden to me. it might be because he played a cop. i did like him as johnny in gilda :)

I like his eyes… and his hair… and there’s some sort of sensitivity there that I can’t articulate.

i’ll take this guy. ’he’s a rebel and he’ll never ever be any good but just because he doesn’t do what
everybody else does, that’s no reason why i can’t give him all my love!’ k, sorry :p got carried away
