What is (are) your favorite frame(s)?

Kenji that’s a great choice. One of the greatest scenes in all of cinema. Kyoko Kagawa is astounding in that film, and she’s only in about 1/4 of the film.

Yes, Col.Dax, i love Kyoko for that film

Here’s an image that helped changed my life, without it i might not have seen the film, got fascinated, and then fallen in love, with Portugal

There are a ton of great ones from “Fanny and Alexander”, but the one that stuck with me is when the kids are woken up by their mother’s screaming and then the doors are slightly open so you can see the dead body of their father and their mom passes by the doorway screaming. I couldn’t find it on google images but anyone else be my guest to post the image if you have it.

Liv Ullman’s face is incredible, just look at it. So much emotion, just astounding

I’m gonna start tearing up just looking at her face.

“8 1/2” (1963), by Federico Fellini.

“Dr. Strangelove” (1964), by Stanley Kubrick

“Barry Lyndon” (1975), by Stanley Kubrick.

“Eyes Wide Shut” (1999), by Stanley Kubrick.

“Notorious” (1946), by Sir Alfred Hitchcock.

“Divorzio all’Italiana” (1961), by Pietro Germi.

“Match Point” (2005), by Woody Allen.

“Inland Empire” (2006), by David Lynch.

Plus, I would have liked to post an infinity of frames taken from films by Fellini, Kubrick, Hitchcock, Scorsese, Coppola and the Coen bros., but the source files have a too much big resolution to be correctly displayed in this thread…

What an extraordinary shot that is from Inland Empire, which i have no memory of at all, but i could do with seeing the film again

David Lynch + Odd-Geir Sæther + SONY PD-150 = “INLAND EMPIRE”

One of my favorites is from Woody Allen’s Manhattan – Tracy is on the far left of the screen, reading on the couch with the light on, the middle third is totally dark, and then Isaac turns on a light in the far right third of the screen and comes down a spiral staircase. I wish I could find the image online. Does anyone know where to find good stills, aside from searching google images?
