I urge you all to see “The Big Bluff,” directed by Billy Wilder’s brother W. Lee Wilder. Tremendous.

W. Lee Wilder made some very weird films, like Killers From Space.

people who mention names and movies like Woody Allen or Marienbad don’t know the true meaning of worst movie when they haven’t witnessed:
Norbit
Resident Evil(all of them)
It Happened in Athens
Vanilla and Chocolate
Night at the Museum
Narrow Margin(the remake)
Bad Boys 2
G.I. Jane(that was equally bad to Norbit)
Bolt
The Terminal
Revolution(don’t ask)
Runaway Bride
Click
The Ring(remake)
and i have more…
the choices of Woody Allen and Marienbad compared to the above piles of excrement are quite insulting.

G.I. Jane(that was equally bad to Norbit)… Great.

Elf Bowling: How can you improve a film better than basing it entirely on a free internet flash game? Then add lines such as “Santa, we’ve lost a billion toys.” Then tie the movie back to the original premise by having santa’s elves attaining a masochistic pleasure from being knocked over by a bowling ball. For extraordinary plot purposes, Santa’s evil brother- Dingle Kringle- wants santa out of the way and does so through various comic mischief that culminates in a bowling duel between the two parties. Not only does Dingle invariably cheat but he cheats Santa twice in the exact same fashion, even after being caught doing so the first occasion. The film is worth a few laughs but its disgusting CGI animation and brainless repetoire is a sad degradation of children’s film. One wonders how Miyazaki still exists.

To the humorless, movies like The Beast of Yucca Flats, Manos: the Hands of Fate and Billy the Kid versus Dracula would be other films to include, though I thoroughly enjoy them.

Yes, but entertaining! Unfortunately, things like The Birth of a Nation aren’t. And the reviews for it…goodness…“Well, it was absolutely horrible and excruciating to sit through, and it was ridiculously wooden and dated, but I like how it was shot! It was REALLY artistic!”

Phil S.

The Birth of a Nation is one of the most important and influential films ever made (in technical terms only). The message of the film is plain racist, but that doesn’t qualify it to be the worst film ever, since in FILM terms it is brilliant, and only horrible in subject matter.

Aaron Dumont

Perhaps. But for me, I was just left cold; when I watch a great movie, I also want to enjoy it on personal terms, and The Brith of Nation, as technically stunning as it is, IMHO, is an intellectually wretched movie, and thus renders all the ‘artistry’ as dubious.

Aaron Dumont

As well, if The Birth of Nation was a short, then it would be at least tolerable to sit through, but no, they just had to drag it out for 200 loooooonnnnggggg minutes.

yea i agree with Eduardo!!!!!!!…LOTR is way too boring, nothing happens, the hobbits are annoying, the movie is long, the story sucks, the ring is stupid, the CG is gay, gimli is gay, gullum is ugly, Eduardo is retarded…wait never mind i take back everything i just said. Except for the fact that Eduardo is retarded :P seriously buddy your post was hilariously. We are trying to name the worst movies in this thread so I think terms like Lord of the Rings should be outlawed.

Yes. I found it intriguing and puzzling. Certainly not bad, much less the worst film ever made.

Bingo Bongo (1982, Pasquale Festa Campanile)

I don’t know if it’s the worst ever made but it’s one of the worst I’ve sat through at a cinema… but it was at a theater in Venice and in Italian (which I don’t understand) with no English subtitles, so maybe that’s why I had trouble fully appreciating the nuances of this hilarious masterpiece, I wonder??? :-)
