Most definitely a double disc Andrei Rublev
Let me see, Hard-Boiled, The Killer, RoboCop, Flesh of Frankenstein, Blood For Dracula, Silence of The Lambs. And ive been saying in Blu-Ray please.
What about the Grand Illusion? Do you think there is a chance criterion will re release this in a 2 disc set?
Bergman’s Religious Trilogy in their own separate individual releases.
Solaris
ANDREI RUBLEV
I second Patrick on the Samurai Trilogy and I’d kill for a Blu-Ray of RoboCop for that much better X Rated version.
Also, probably a re-release of most of their earlier releases. Seems those one are generally poor picture quality.
Tokyo Drifter and Branded to Kill
Most definitely ANDREI RUBLEV as a Blu-Ray release
I’m always upset that I can’t find Criterion’s edition of Sid and Nancy for a reasonable price…it’s a drag only having the barebones edition.
Dead Ringers would be great as well.
ANDREI RUBLEV
Bergman’s RELIGIOUS TRILOGY
THE RED SHOES
ORDET
SOLARIS
Since ‘The Human Condition’ is coming out soon I thought it would be appropriate to revisit Kwaidan.Improved transfer and subtitles. But more importantly the full uncut version.
Kwaidan is also the perfect choice for a Blu-Ray release.
I agree with Dead Ringers. The print is a hell of a lot better than the horrible copy that’s in print. I would love to see the flick get a two disc update like Videodrome and Naked Lunch got. It is Cronenberg’s masterpiece.
The Night of the Hunter is begging for a criterion version. The MGM DVD is sad.
Diabolique
Kwaidan
Andrei Rublev
The Red Shoes
Black Narcissus
The Naked Kiss
Shock Corridor

I agree with Brett. “Sid and Nancy”, in Blu-Ray, please!
Branded to Kill. It really deserves a better print.
I agree with Trevor & Doonel. I wouldn’t mind Naked Lunch, Haxan, & Fear & Loathing getting re- issues,.
how about BRAZIL? LOL….
You should be required to say WHY in these threads! Some are obvious… others, not so much.
Films that should be re-issued:
Ivan’s Childhood
Shock Corridor
Naked Lunch
Jean Cocteau’s Orpheus Trilogy
Cries and Whispers
Dreyer’s Ordet/Days of Wrath/Gertrud
Andrei Rublev
Winter Light
3 Women
La Strada
Films that should have a Criterion release:
Night of the Hunter
City of Women
Lilli Marleen
Throw away your Books,Rallye in the Streets!
Passion
Every single Philippe Garrel feature
IVAN’S CHILDHOOD was remastered recently by Criterion.
Passion seems fine as it is.
and, I don’t think Ivan’s Childhood needs to be reissued 2 years later. Also, La Strada is 2 discs…! Also… see my above comment!!! -=)
patrick
The Samurai Trilogy for certain, also walkabout and naked kiss could use an update as well.
