this and many other comments on this thread was exactly what I was looking for. And now that you’ve made me realize this among other things, I deffinately won’t be hesitant to explore further into Fullers oevre.

Fuller’s camera is like a dagger that pierces it’s characters and let’s us see the dirtiness underneath the human ignorance, without villanizing anyone.
Two words that synthesize his cinema: anarchy and ethics.
One word that describes Fuller: Genious!
As Polaris said, if you weren’t shocked by that scene from The Naked Kiss… well… try watching White Dog and Shock Corridor, it’s his best works!
For me, he is the best american filmmaker, side by side with Hawks and Nicholas Ray.
