Last Year at Marienbad
There will be blood. Arty farty unstructured nonsense which is more suited to an individuals deranged breakdown and wild eyed stares. This is the musical equivalent of an unmade bed, though a damn sight more annoying in that it detracts from a cracking film.

I’ve posted this before: Ennio Morricone’s score for Edward Dmytryk’s unspeakable BLUEBEARD. The worst score ever written, for one of the worst movies ever made. A joy to behold.
“Witness” by Maurice Jarre.
Okay, maybe not the all time worst, but it was really annoying because the movie was otherwise good. And Maurice Jarre! I loved his work for Lawrence of Arabia. How did he descend to this?!?

I absolutely agree that hands down, the worst musical score ever was for Contempt. Sit through that movie (if you can) and tell me that I’m wrong!
