Where do film people even hang out in real life?

Aside from their bedrooms, of course…

In today’s digital age…who the hell has time to “hang out” anymore?

By the way Ben., you’re most likely right. The people I know who’re into film are into it for all the wrong reasons, very selfish monetary and fame-seeking ones. Which is why they don’t hang out together, and why I don’t hang out with them. They simply don’t get what I get, and they refuse to learn. Thank god I found the Autuers or else I’d not have any outlet for my feelings on film.

“Aside from their bedrooms, of course…”

Bedrooms with a female partner, speaking on my behalf….

Dimitris you have no idea how bad Montana is. We didn’t even get Black Swan were I live.

I hang out at a lot of concerts I guess. Jam sessions at friend’s houses. The occasional bar or coffee shop downtown. The pool during the summer. Bonnaroo.

I go to my Scifi and Fantasy society at my University (film screenings, anime screenings, occasional social meetups), as well as latin and ballroom dancing society (and all related society balls and dancing competitions). Also to the cinema occasionally (once every few weeks), and I’m in the library or coffee place once a week meeting up with one of my friends. Other than that, yeah…bedrooms…and no partners, I’m afraid ;)

Anywhere caffeine and intelligent conversation is guaranteed. So not where I live clearly.

I have film-friends who hang out with each other a lot, but they’ve been friends since high school and practically introduced each other to film. I would join them, but I recently moved away. Oops?
Otherwise, I go for coffee with large groups of people I know from other places, but I have no other friends who are interested in film.

Well, look at it this way Daniel: I’ve had more misfires than successes but it’s great to be around cafes and “art-related” bars and the like, even in limited spaces in my area of residence…and I’m still young and a freelancer, so who knows what the future will bring…more? ;)

Maybe it depends on the Montana town Ben? :P

Wherever there’s action, and wherever there’s peace. Wherever we want to.

I like working out at the gym (: I’ve been spending a lot of time at home lately though, everyone’s away with their families so I have nothing to do but watching films and rehearsing with my band.
