That’s actualy a really good question, I don’t remember ever seeing that exact shot either. I think it may be a publicity photo of some kind. Alternatively, it may have been taken from the very, very end when he (spoilers) threatens the pianist with his (unloaded) gun.
Hmmm, I’ll deffinately have to check out the end, it very well could be there.

That always killed me though, cause thats ALWAYS the picture used for this film, like everywhere.
I think it’s a still, not in the actual film itself, because the guy on the left is the one Delon shoots towards the very end of the film, around 1 hour 34 minutes. Yet you never see that actual shot in the film. When Delon pulls his gun, the other guy is not in the frame.
It probably isn’t in the movie.

Ahhh I see, thank you very much. It’s funny because that very still is what game me the impulse to watch that film. It’s one of my favorites.

I must have seen this movie atleast eight or nine times and I still can’t figure out where it’s from in the film. At what time? Is it even in there? Could it be a deleted scene?
