I have had the same trouble with that of The Swimmer. I originally saw the film through an online rental place and watched it on dvd, however when i went to find a copy for myself i could only locate the film on vhs and the price was upwards of $30.oo.
In regards to Moonrise, like you said there are copies on amazon for $78.oo
There is a Murnau, Borzage and Fox Box Set which is represented on dvd, although the price seems a bit outlandish and I’m not certain if they would have Moonrise or not.

The new Borzage at Fox box is all much earlier stuff than MOONRISE.
I think I saw it on TCM. It wasn’t that great, but wasn’t too bad either.

Does anyone know where I might get a copy of Frank Borzage’s MOONRISE? I’ve seen VHS copies on Amazon, but am interested in finding it on DVD, if possible.
