I agree with Kim Novak, Zooey Deschanel, Grace Kelly, Natalie Portman, Kate Winslet, and Penelope Cruz. I would like to add Shannyn Sossamon, Amy Adams, Ann Blythe, and Liv Tyler. Sorry if I mispelled anything.
I didn’t search too carefully, but am I mistaken in being surprised that Angelina Jolie isn’t on here? I wouldn’t add her, but I still find it surprising.
Jean Seberg. I’d watch her do almost anything (does that soud gross?).
Marie Falconetti, not for her physical beauty, (maybe it was the haircut, but I didn’t find her that physically attractive), but she has the most beautifully expressive face I’ve ever seen in a film, or one of them at least.
François Dorléac, indeed.
Natasha Richardson, who just passed away, was really beautifull as stylish (love her in Comfort of Strangers).
Louise Brooks was a dream. Also was Miroslava.
Tippi Hedren and Kim Novak (did Hitch know how to choose them or what?)
There´s a strange mature sexyness in Carmen Maura wicht I can´t resist.
Oh, and Ludivine Sagnier. And Sarah Polley.

People watch films too much based on the good looking people in them. Plus I saw jessica Alba’s name, she should only be referred to when talking about terrible actresses. There are too many idiots out there considered beautiful.
For a more obscure recommendation, I suggest an actress whose image has haunted me since I saw her in Jennifer Lynch’s Boxing Helena: Sherilyn Fenn. I have no idea if anyone here has seen the film itself. Definitely bizarre – as you would expect from Lynch’s own daughter, who has certainly inherited her father’s love of the grotesque. Fenn was used by Lynch himself in Twin Peaks as Audrey Horne. I won’t go into the plot line here, but Fenn is gorgeous. Julian Sands is creepy in the film – but, I will leave it there.
SSA; “People watch films too much based on the good looking people in them.” My, there is food for thought, esp. on this thread!
Major Tom, good choice Françoise Dorléac. RIP Françoise and Natasha Richardson
Gong Li
Maggie Cheung
Fanny Ardant
Miranda Richardson
Lena Olin
Greta Scacchi
yes yes Maggie Cheung … and Chloe Sevigny also
i could never apologize for wanting to look at beautiful women for the sake of looking at them, whether in a movie or real life. jessica alba is a goddess.
Catherine Deneuve in “Les parapluies de Cherbourg” , that is goddam perfection !!
Fay Dunaway
Sophia Loren
Am adding two more names to my list. Too bad Carole Lombard died at 33. I think she was very talented and could have grown as an actress and accomplished much more had she lived longer.
Michelle Pfeiffer
Ornella Muti
Isabelle Adjani
Keira Knightley
Gene Tierney
Anne Parillaud
Carole Lombard
Ever since I saw her in “Foul Play,” I’ve had a huge crush on Goldie Hawn!
jeanne moreau.
Ingrid Bergman
Isabella Rossellini or any women in any Fellini film (even Saraghina in 8 1/2) oy!
Anyone ever hear of …. Claudia Cardinale? Also, I’d vote for Bardot, A. Hepburn, Harriet Anderson (in “Smiles…”), Anouk Aimee (81/2), and Juliete Binoche (Unbearable…)
Nobody mentioned Diane Lane…and how about Valeria Golino? Although, I think Jacqueline Bisset was the most beautiful woman ever on screen.
or Olivia Hussey!
Audrey Hepburn.

Ingrid Bergman
Isabella Rossellini
Anna Karina
Milla Jovovich
Kim Novak
Natalie Portman
No doubt about Brooks. I’ll have to go with Maureen O’Hara – b/w or color, she’s fascinating to watch onscreen and her movement. Also, something about Mirren and her appealing persona.
My vote goes to Claudia Cardinale!
Jennifer Connelly. Hands down. Kirsten Dunst, Kate Winslet, and Mary Louise Parker are also stunning
